iOS Application Development

iOS devices such as IPods, IPhones and IPads are famous for their stylish looks and amazing features. Their App Store contains hundreds of thousands of apps.

An iOS App dedicated for Museums and Cultural Sites

The iOrpheo app is an iOS application dedicated for museums, tourism and cultural sites. Thanks to the iOrpheo solution, it is very simple to deploy and manage multimedia IPhone and IPod apps at participating cultural sites. Our mobile software technology is entirely compatible with classic audio tours and standard audio guides, which helps museums and other tour sites leverage their audio-tour portfolios. The iOrpheo application’s flexible architecture allows you to select the specific features needed to provide the best end-user experience.

Standard Features

Keyboard tab - The visitor can access the commentary by typing in a number on the touch screen keypad of the device.
List tab - The visitor can choose a point of interest (POI) by making a selection from a list of stop titles.
Map tab - Available tour stops are displayed on a map. For outdoor sites such as city tours, the position of the visitor can be indicated on the map. With this feature, it is also possible to setup auto-trigger mode which initiates the commentary automatically. The Map tab can incorporate different levels and sub-levels of a building. For large sites, it is possible to create a map inside another map.
Bookmark tab -  This function allows visitors to save their favorite information, to return to it later, either during or after the tour.
Info Tab - This feature can be customized to provide different types of information (user guides, museum mobile websites, visitor information, special announcements, RSS feeds, etc.).

iPad Optimization

The development structure of our standard application is compatible with the iPad (versions 1 and 2). In order to offer the best experience to end-users, the content is specifically formatted to fit the display screen of the device. This allows optimization of the screen resolution of the iPad apps and minimizes the download time of the iPhone and iPod app.
